Tribute gallery to Mr. Garrett Edmisten...."The Sandman"
I met Garrett in Okeechobee (2003-ish), Florida at an FTR race.
At the time my son had a broken leg, and I asked Garrett to stop by and say hello to him.
He came over and not only said hello, but gave my son the trophy he had won on that day (and autographed it too).
My son still has that trophy.
And, I have been a #217 fan ever since.
Thank you Mr.Garrett Edmisten, for some awesome memories.
And, for runnin the G2 sticker on your helmet for so many years, it meant a lot to me.
