Turtle Researchers
Aug.15,2015 * Ride along with Turtle researchers Charlotte & Kandi during the checking of sea turtle nests along the south west portion of Everglades National Park.
It was a wonderful day, filled with beauty and danger of the great outdoors.
With the wisdom of the crew our day was cut short due to thunderstorms. At one point there was one in every direction.
At the end of our trip there was quite the treat to see.
During the maintenance of putting the boat away, the motor needs to have a quick fresh water motor flush.
At that moment, 5 manatees thought it would be a great opportunity to grab a quick drink of fresh water.
There was NO interaction of people & Manatees. (I feel that needed to be mentioned)
